Coll of the wild will lure buyers

The Pinkhill project in Edinburgh
Posted: 2008/09/19
SIGNIFICANT development opportunities are on offer on the Isle of Coll thanks to the sale of Lonban Farm, which is on the books of agents Knight Frank at offers over £1.25million.
As well as being a traditional stock farm, 1,084-acre Lonban includes two cottages which are let for self-catering holidays, and two crofts, both with planning consent for a new house.
There are also four other development sites and the sale includes snipe and goose shooting and two hill lochs which provide brown trout fishing.
The agents say that, because of the diverse nature of the farm, as well as being marketed as a whole it is also offered as nine separate lots with prices ranging from offers over £45,000 to offers over £550,000 for the four-bed farmhouse, its buildings and around 945 acres.
