AN echo of Alpine-style housing is winning attention in Scotland at the moment. The reason is a B-listed home for sale in Nairn.

Called Willowvale, and selling through agents CKD Galbraith at offers over £650,000, the house dates from 1922.

It was designed by WR Davidson who was, at one time, assistant to the great Victorian architect Sir Edwin Lutyens.

Accommodation spans three levels and includes a three-bedroom flat on the second floor.

There are four reception rooms on the ground floor and five bedrooms on the first floor.
