AT first glance the detached villa known as Loch View at Inveraray, Argyll, appears to be an exceptionally well-maintained traditional property. In fact, the house is only a year old.

Built by Lochgilphead-based L&A Mackay, it also offers a level of accommodation that could take passers-by by surprise. It appears a two-storey home from the front but from the rear it becomes obvious that it in fact spans three floors.

Selling with a fixed price of £399,950 through agents Savills, Loch View lives up to its title. The front overlooks Loch Fyne while the back view looks on to Inveraray golf course.

Set in landscaped grounds, with planning in place for a double garage at the back, the specification includes underground heating on the ground and first floors.

Accommodation includes a drawing room, dining room and kitchen with utility area.

The first floor houses the master bedroom with an en suite shower-room, two other bedrooms and main bathroom. Two further bedrooms and a shower room are on the second floor.
